Toronto New-York Crossfire
When: April 22nd 2012 2000Z-0000Z
Where: CYYZ, KJFK, and KLGA Airports

It’s the next great crossfire event, this time putting Canada and The USA against each other in a bid for nation pride. In the north corner we have the Toronto FIR featuring Toronto Pearson (CYYZ) airport and in the south corner the New York ARTCC featuring a double team duo of John F. Kennedy (KJFK) and LaGuardia (KLGA) airports.
The concept is easy, the airport with the most completed departures to one of the three featured airports, WINS! Will the Toronto FIR crumble under the constant pounding of two competitors at the same time or will the New York ARTCC duo be sent a devastating one two knockout? Only time will tell which one of these two great virtual ATC units will go home with their nation’s pride intact and which one will be lowering their flag to half mast the day after.

The cream of the crop of prizes are available to be won at this event, and you will not want to miss out on this one for sure! The Toronto FIR will be giving away one copy of HiFi Technologies’ Active Sky 2012, and also one copy of FS2CREW’s PMDG 737NGX Captain’s Set. All pilots who complete at least one flight between Toronto (CYYZ) and LaGuardia (KLGA) or Kennedy (KJFK) and Toronto (CYYZ) or vice versa will earn a ballot to be entered into a random draw. One ballot equals two chances to win; pilots can also earn more ballots by completing more flights! One prize per pilot only of course!
