By the time HC-CFD is probably in Latacunga (SELT) since sistership HC-CFL received its paintjob there, (altough confirmation is needed), the ZS-SIS registration is from it's former operator Safair where it came from back in 2006

There is a rumor than Icaro sold the HC-CFD to South Africa, nothing confirm, but there are several sites and some people here in Ecuador who say than the rumor its true and Icaro now just have one aircraft.

The information about HC-CFD is confirmed. Was sold back to Safair in South Africa and got her previous registration ZS-SIS and is actually stored at Johannesburg. Rgds.

Por cierto, el avión de Icaro que es o era fuente de repuestos ya no le he visto en el hangar algun colega sabe donde fue a parar, entiendo que ya no podía volar.

Según la Superintendencia de Compañías, hasta que se complete el trámite de disolución la compañía puede continuar con sus actividades de forma regular.
Tras casi 40 años en el mercado de aviación, Ícaro, empresa ecuatoriana, presentó este mes una solicitud de disolución a la Superintendencia de Compañías (SC).

Una verdadera pena, siempre recordaremos a Icaro.
¿Se acabará también la escuela de Quito?
