Un piloto norteamericano que volaba un C-45 Expeditor para la Embajada de EEUU en 1958.

Visita de unos aviones C-47 de la Fuerza Aerea del Uruguay, que llegaron a Quito con ayuda para los damnificados por el terremoto de Ambato en 1949.
Lamentablemente solo tengo fotos tomadas desde los C-47 cuando estaban siendo escoltados por dos aviones AT-6 de la FAE.
Creo que Guido si tiene las fotos de los C-47s parqueados en la Base Aerea.

Visita a Quito de un avion A-26 que servia de apoyo al segundo grupo de los F-47 adquiridos por el Gobierno del Ecuador en 1953.

Un avion de carga britanico Belfast de la compania HeavyLift ( 1984 )
Dentro del carguero venia un avion Jet de entrenamiento militar SIAI Marchetti. S211

Hola Pablo.
No. No tengo fotos del Lockheed Super Constellation. Alguien alguna vez me dijo que esos aviones solamente llegaban hasta Guayaquil.

La foto anterior corresponde a un RB-57 de Usaf, el año ... Fernando nos puede orientar.
Vale indicar que tomar esa foto fue una verdadera proesa ya que en ese tiempo las cámaras eran negadas para todos, y si te encontraban tremendo teque y arresto.

Aquí va la foto de los C-47 de la FAU en ayuda humanitaria como lo mencionó anteriormente Fernando.

El Sábado 24 de Abril tuve la suerte de coincidencialmente ver el arribo por primera vez del 767 Carguero de UPS, capte la bienvenida típica con los bomberos, la foto no es de muy buena calidad pero pues, un nuevo visitante en Quito!, esperemos verlo mas seguido!
